Présentation

The International School of Nice was founded in 1976 and was taken over by the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce in 1994.
The International School of Nice offers Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 instruction and college preparatory education. The primary language of instruction is English and French is offered at all levels throughout the school.
The School provides an intellectually challenging programme of studies which aims to promote analytic understanding with an integrated view of the various academic disciplines and to encourage creativity and self-expression.
The International School of Nice strives to cultivate and perpetuate such values as honesty, responsibility, kindness, tolerance, and respect for the rights of others.

The ISN provides an English based programme for students aged 4 to 18 years, culminating in the International Baccalaureate of Geneva.
The ISN has grown inside and developed as a leading International School in the region with excellent exam results
and university placement record. ISN is fully accredited by two international agencies - the European Council for International Schools and the Middle States Association of the United States.
Lower school: 4 - 10 years (Pre-K / Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). This includes the core subject areas of Language and Literature, Math, Social Studies, Science, Art, Music, Physical Education, French and ESOL. ISN is in the process of adopting the International Baccalaureate Primary Year Programme (IB-PYP).
Middle school: 11 – 13 years (Grades 6, 7, 8). There is a varied programme which includes physical education, music, art, computer, and drama as well as a rigorous academic approach in the core subjects of English, French, mathematics, social studies and science.
Upper school: 14 – 18 years (Grades 9, 10, 11, 12). ISN is recognised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation of Geneva and offers IB courses to grades 11 & 12, whilst pre-IB is offered for grades 9 & 10. In the International Baccalaureate program, ISN offers French and English as both languages A1 and B and the opportunity to study in a student’s mother tongue: Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Swedish Norwegian, Finnish, and Japanese are available.

NUMBER OF PUPILS & SIZE OF CLASSES
The School has an enrolment of 320 students with about 35 nationalities.
Class sizes are generally limited to 22 students, but IB classes are often much smaller depending on options chosen.
There are 42 teachers and 4 administrators and the Faculty has an average of 15 years teaching experience and an average length of stay of 10 years.

Parent Teacher Association : this group plays a very active role within the community. It is made up of an enthusiastic
group of parents and teachers and aims to support and enhance the school’s educational programme. Its main roles are as follows:
- To interface between the parents, faculty and management of the school, including the CCI for issues regarding day to day community life.
- To promote good relations among parents, faculty and the school.
- To promote good relations with the surrounding community.
- To raise and dispense funds for the activities detailed above.
From 10,350€ a year for the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Classes to 15,945€ a year for the upper school (plus an application fee and a one off registration fee).
A 10 % reduction on tuition fees will be granted to families with 3 or more children enrolled at ISN.
The International School of Nice is located 5 minutes from Nice International airport and 10 minutes from the town centre, with easy access to the A8 motorway.
It is a mere 20 minute drive to Antibes and Monaco and 30 minutes from Cannes.
