The association "Stimuler pour Aider à Mieux Vivre" (Stimulate to Help Better Living) organises swimming sessions supervised by voluntary lifeguards, at the Tuillières swimming pool, kindly lent for the occasion by the Vallauris Golf Juan municipality.

The purpose of this action is to enrich the possible relationships between the members of the association, adults and children, handicapped or not, through a nautical activity which allows the discovery of new sensations and the development of certain skills.

For handicapped children, the water is a way of discovering new sensations, and new goals and it gives a sense of well-being.

Moreover, once a year the children may also be lucky enough to meet and swim with the swimming champion Franck Esposito.

To sum up, this association helps to create an aspect of freedom, which can help with the integration and access to a normal social life.
