PICNIC VALDEBLORE/COLMIANE

Come and discover this charming mountain village just over a 1 hour drive from Nice, perfect for a family day out with children of all ages.
Many different walking paths are near by and suitable for a gentle family stroll or a more energetic trek.
Begin with a picnic by a small lake, a short and easy10 minute walk from the car park. It is prohibited to swim but the surroundings are magnificent and you can take a ball to play with or go for one of the longer walks from this point.
For those who prefer having a proper toilet on hand rather than disappearing behind a tree, a public one is in the village a quick 5 minute walk away.
You can combine the walks with mini-golf and a go on the adventure playground, a pony ride or a bounce on a trampoline. The more energetic ones can drive a few minutes further to the starting point of the summer toboggan slope.

Great for all ages!
Colmiane is great in the summer for all ages - we took our 3 year old who played in the play area, jumped on the trampolines, sped down on the summer toboggan and then had a picnic by the lake. Amazing scenery too - just don't forget it's much colder up here than on the coast and that the weather can change abruptly.
