Parc Phoneix can be found as you enter Nice from the west, it is spread out over 7 hectares and houses 2500 species of plants, some of which are rare, all of which are preserved in a Mediterranean decor.
The tropical greenhouse is 7000m², 25 metres high and is one of the biggest in Europe.
The Parc Phoenix was conceived as a meeting place between man and nature, it is made up of around twenty themed gardens with their own sound system.
Opening hours:
9.30am - 7.30pm from 1st April to 30th September.
9.30am - 6pm from 1st October to 31st March.

Great, cheap, easy day out!
This one is great, cheap and easy! Our 3 year old daughter has been here twice now - once with us and once with the mini-club during the school holidays. She loved both times and didn't seem bothered that she went twice in short succession. Lots to see including alligators, owls, all sorts of birds, tortoises and lots of tropical plants in the greenhouses. Watch out for the big grassy areas that you can't picnic on but there is a big kids play area.
