The ‘Cité des sciences et de l’industrie’, a Universcience institution, ‘Cap Sciences’ and the ‘Forum départemental des sciences’ have come together in Mougins. From the 22nd October, they will present all kinds of discoveries and experiences related to human beings, such as their abilities, senses and the origins of mankind.

• The village of senses (for 5-12 year-olds) has been devised to encourage early learning about science. 4 investigation themes: questions about the living world, you and others around you, communication techniques, how does that work?

• The ‘inventomobiles’ (for 5-12 year-olds): based on the idea of a surprise parcel, children learn about a scientific subject by observing, touching, classifying and so on.

• ‘Youplaboum’ your body (for 3-6 year-olds): children will learn about their reflection and identify their body. Sometimes, they

have to take risks to understand space and overcome dizziness, at other times they play and

control their shadows.

• Scientific workshops (for 6-13 year-olds): All the magic of science within reach of the most curious!

• An archeological mission, time investigators (for 7 year-olds and older): Pottery, pollen, sediment … all become clues for obtaining information from the ground and the environment and reconstituting ways of life.

• The king of sleep (for everyone): Sleep is essential for man and all animals. But what is sleep?

• Games about me (‘jeux sur je’, from 8 years onwards): Visitors transformed into players … this is the unusual proposition made by the ‘Jeux sur je’ exhibition.

• Exhibition of photos, activities, shows based on stories …
