THE EXOTIC GARDENS AND THE OBSERVATION CAVE
Presentation
This extraordinary garden, bringing together several million species of plants known as succulents, was opened in 1933 and was boldly planted on the rocky mountainside where it blooms superbly; it has today become the object of worldwide admiration. It is the kingdom of nature’s exuberance, its unusualness and surrealism.
60m below ground, a prehistoric cave reveals its spectacular stalagmites and stalactites formed over millennia!
The presence of prehistoric humans in the area around this cave can be proven by the bone remains of the animals that provided their food. These remains are also proof of the climatic variations of the past 250,000 years.

Opening / Prices
The Exotic Garden of Monaco is open every day of the year except 19 November and 25 December.
from 15 May to 15 September : 9 am to 7 pm.
from 16 September to 14 May: 9 am to 6 pm or nightfall.
Prices :
Adults : 7, 00 €
Children (6-18 years old) : 3, 70 €
Students (with card, up to 30 years old) : 3, 70 €
Seniors (over 65 years old) : 5, 40 €
Group and school rates upon request and with reservations.
