The International Bilingual Schools aim highly for the academic success of its pupils through its multicultural programme and helps to prepare the children for life in society by encouraging respect and responsibility by understanding the different cultural heritages of each one.

The pedagogy is founded on the following values:

• Teach its pupils a certain autonomy: they are encouraged to think for themselves and to make decisions.
• Teach how to act in society: pupils are encouraged to respect others, be responsible and confident, enthusiastic and creative…

Bilingual Teaching: The 50% French and 50% English teaching method follows both the French and English programmes. The school insures the same number of hours of French, Maths and History lessons as in French schools and boasts a high academic level amongst its pupils.

The English language programme has adopted the same methods and pedagogy as those used in English and American schools. Children learn English naturally in groups adapted to their level with a personalised follow up for each child, in classes taught by experienced, mother tongue, English language teachers.

Kindergarten :

• Youngest classes: Vocabulary, language, drawing, pre-mathematics, coordination, gym and IT as of 3 years.
• Middle and older classes: Introduction to reading and writing, maths, technology, IT and science. Art and craft and music lessons, sport and swimming lessons.

Primary Years :

• French programme: Reading using the phonetic and syllable techniques, writing, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, creative writing, poesy, history and maths.
• English programme: reading, grammar, spelling, oral exercises, civil education, science, geography, art and craft.
