PRESENTATION OF THE TRACK

Crossing some of the most prestigious sites in the county of the Var, the coastal cycle path network follows the trace of the old Provencal trail route.

Once the County Council has finished building, the path route will eventually link Six-Fours to St-Raphaël, covering a distance of 130km. At present near to 79km are finished.

More than just a simple cycle path, the network will represent 4 « green tracks » open to all with the exception of motorised vehicles:

Toulon-Carqueiranne (17km) leading to the sea

Hyères-Plage to Port Porthuau (3,8km) along the sea front

La Londe-les-Maures to Bormes-les-Mimosas (9km)

Saint Clair to Pramousquier (6km) along side the rocky coast line offering splendid view points.

Other parts exist in Gassin (2km), Grimaud (3,5km), and between Saint-Aygulf and Fréjus (4,5km).

Dedicated above all to cyclists, the pathways are also good for walkers, roller bladders and other non-motorised vehicles, great for a family day out or going to school and work.

For families and those searching an outing that is not too strenuous, the St. Clair to Pramousquier stretch is highly recommended.

If you want a day long outing why not go from La Londe to Pramousquier, a 40mk pathway to discover the perched village of Bormes, the port of Lavandou, to stop for a swim at the Cavailiere beach…It is advised to set off from Londe so that you have the flatter ground on the way back!
