VEGALUNA PLAGE
Présentation
Vegaluna Plage in Cannes is a beach that is well worth a visit in the summer season but also at other times of the year. Its relaxed ambiance is complemented by a feeling of well being, talent, fashion and elegance and a very warm welcome is given to families.
Open all year, you can enjoy its classy decoration, teck furniture, sandy coloured sun umbrellas and cushions and the mosaic decorated bar that combines beautifully with the natural colours of the beach and the sea. It also goes out of its way to help parents relax and children have fun by providing toys in the sand throughout the year and a club for children every day during the summer holidays, from 1pm to 5pm (7€/hr).
Older children and adults will also enjoy the water sports organised during the summer season, including water skiing, wake, dingy and there are also swimming lessons and aqua gym (July & August).
A life guard is also on hand to make sure that the little ones do not get into danger in the water.
All of the splashing about is bound to work up your appetite and the restaurant menu will make your taste buds water with the thought of its delicious cuisine! Under the watchful eye of the chef Antoine Regnault, all of the dishes are decorated in an original manner, with a Mediterranean touch.

It’s summer time…Sun, warm sand, a sun bed, the sea…
Vegaluna Plage has thought of everything to make your day as nice as possible:
Relaxing: soft colours, comfy sun beds, personnel always on hand but discreet, all factors that will on a small siesta in the sun or under the shade…except your children who would no doubt prefer an activity such as sand castle making, or paddling. You can relax without a worry knowing that there is always a life guard on hand and there is even a kids club, every day during the summer school holidays.
A buzz of energy: if you need to stretch your legs, take part in a 30 minute aqua gym lesson, pluck up your water confidence with a swimming lesson or try your hand at a more energetic activity such as water skiing, wake or being pulled along in a rubber ring.
Refreshments for all: once the hunger sets in or you merely lust for a cool drink, you will not even have to leave your sun bed! A special beach menu has been created offering a delicious club sandwich or salad.
There is even a small boutique where you can buy sun lotion, beach towels to hire, sweets and other nibbles.
During the cooler, winter season, Cannes is often blessed with clear blue skies and Vegaluna stays open for those whining after a holiday feel in a friendly place. The restaurant and lounge area remains open too and children can play on swings and with the other toys in the sand.

Vegaluna’s restaurant managed by the chef Antoine Regnault, tries its very best to conjure up gourmet but reasonably priced Mediterranean dishes.

s to the market stalls, served strait into your dishes!
Following the guests’ wishes: in a classy and warm ambiance you can choose a specific part of Vegaluna’s premises to dine in: a cosy sofa and coffee table in the lounge area for a relaxed lunch, one of the restaurant’s tables for a more formal meal or on the terrace for more light and inspiration.
During the firework festival, one of Cannes major events in July and August, Vegaluna also opens its restaurant in the evening and offers a different menu every time. Enjoy your dinner in a fairy tail setting lit up by the glow of the fireworks…
There is something for everyone here and for every occasion! An ice cold coca cola under a sun umbrella, a hot chocolate on a miserable day, a fruit tart or ice cream for those with a sweet tooth or something savoury to satisfy a hunger pang. Vegaluna serves refreshments, throughout the year until 8pm in the summer and 6pm in the winter.
There is a special menu for children, with a choice of fish or meat for the main meal, for a price ranging from 12€ to 14€.

Price: 16 euros per child
If you prefer a more elaborate party you may hire an entertainer and/or a bouncy castle.
Entertainer
Vegaluna works with the company FRANK ANIMATION who can provide one or more entertainers to amuse the children for 2h30 with fancy dress and interactive party games.

Vegaluna Plage is located on the famous Croisette in Cannes, opposite the Carlton Hotel and near to car parks 
and parking spaces.
If coming by car, take the Cannes motorway exit or take the coastal road.
You may also come by train as the station is only a few minutes walk away from la Croisette, and the town centre.

Vegaluna’s restaurant is open all year (except from the 14th November to the 26th December), every day what ever the weather, from midday to 5pm in the summer and until 4pm in the winter.
During the firework festival, the restaurant remains open every evening with a different menu every time.
