Being a parent is one of the most wonderful things in the world…it is however also one of the most difficult! Brigitte
Kramer and Christine Dimajo-Donati reply to the many questions asked by today’s parents and suggest that you become a ‘Parent Coach’. This parent coach method will help you in your everyday life, in almost all challenging situations and not only those with your children!
It will help to make your life easier, in a simple, respectful and loving way.
'Parent Coach' simply refers to a parent who wishes happiness and fulfillment for his or her child. A 'Parent Coach' wants to have the best possible relationship with his or her child in order to live family life and life in general to its fullest.
Remember that a child never acts intentionally to bother a parent or another being, but that his or her challenging behavior is always driven unconsciously by a specific discomfort. By learning the parent coach method, you will be able to better understand your child and thus improve your relationship.

Brigitte Gicquel-Kramer is coach in communication and teaches the PNL since 1992. She has been is a consultant
for companies and the area of personel development for 15 years. Brigitte speaks excellent English.
Christine Dimajo-Donati is a journalist and advices in personal communication and human relations. She has worked with company directors and managers.
Both of them are mothers and young grandmothers and have chosen to specialise in Parent-Child communication and relationships. They have created the non profit making organisation called ‘Devenez Parent Coach’ (Become a Parent-Coach) with the humble aim of providing support and advice to parents by way of their « Become a Parent Coach » workshops.
The difference between a coach and you as a parent is that you parent without a method, but using knowledge that has been passed onto you from your own parents and upbringing. It has been proved that this is not always the best method to use with your own children. You probably also share the child's upbringing and education with a partner who may not share the same views and values as you and which complicates this triangular relationship.

Because a ‘Parent Coach’ successfully combines a parent , like you, who is full of love for his or her child, with
the knowhow of a coach that understands and manages the mechanisms of a relationship.
By creating a relationship based on respect and unconditional love as early as possible, you should be able to better manage or even avoid the dreaded teenager crisis or the challenging behavior of some smaller children earlier on in life. Whatever the age of your child it is never too late to better and modify your educational beliefs and methods, much to the satisfaction of all.
All of the methods taught by Brigitte and Christine can be applied to everyone. They are full of common sense and do not require a specific expertise or any particular knowledge.

WHO CAN BECOME A PARENT COACH ?
« Become a Parent Coach » is for all parents.
- A full time parent
- A part time parent
- A divorced parent
- A parent who still lives with a partner
- A one parent family
- A recomposed family or not…
In today's world the « job » of parent takes many different forms but all come to the same conclusion: that being a parent is probably one of the hardest jobs in the world. Especially as there is no user manual and a parent is usually thrown into his or her role with joy but with few guidelines. No school teaches us how to best take on this role and unfortunately it is not only good intentions that count...although they help.
« Become a Parent Coach » is also for other people that have relationships with children of all ages:
- Grands parents
- Uncles and Aunts
- and the family members in general.
- Teachers, tutors, team leaders, forster parents….
And also healthcare staff…

HOW TO BECOME A PARENT COACH ?
Module 1:
Take time out with other parents to think and exchange, with the guidence of professionnels trained to teach the «
Become a Parent Coach » method. This workshop is optimised for your family as a separate workshop in very fun conditions is held in parallel for your children.
This 2 day workshop covers subjects such as :
- How to have althority over my child but by still allowing my child to act freely within this frame.
- Combining a parent's unconditional love with the ups and downs of everyday life.
- Being a parent and a coach in order to help a child develop to his or her full potential.
- Identify the 'risks' associated with parenting so as to avoid them.
- Live my dream as ideal parent on a day to day basis.
230€ for one parent (a reduced rate if both participate)
Module 2:
This workshop is only open to those who have already taken part in the first.
Each session lasts 3 hours and can be orgaised during the week, at the weekend, in the evening or what ever best suits its participants.
The module 2 takes form as 5 workshops of 3 hours. 230€ for one parent (a reduced rate if both participate)
Theme based workshops of 1 day:
Themes include :
- Baby is on its way. Anticipate your « job » as a parent.
- Understand the learning strategies to help solve problems at school.
- Help a child through a divorce or separation.
- How to talk to child about illness and dealth.
- You child can not stand loosing. How can you help him/her?
- How to shop siblings fighting and arguing all of the time.
- How to help your child who is scared of one thing or the other and has nightmares.
- Help your child better undertstand what he or she wants to do in life to help make the right educational choices.
- How to help a recomposed family to live together in harmony.
- What to do if your child is adicted to the TV, computer games, internet, food, the telephone, canabis
- or smoking.
- How to held a child welcome a new brother or sister.
- How to keep a good relationship with a child who is now a teenager.
These days are organbised for groups of 10 to 16 parents. 150€ for one parent (a reduced rate if both participate)
Individual Coaching:
Brigitte and Christine are alos on hand if you prefer individual coaching for you and/or your family. Price upon request.
