Anaesthetic and gynaecological consulting-rooms, and a Well Being centre, offers classes on the preparation to childbirth, perinea rehabilitation and baby swimmer activities. A gynaecological/obstetrical room including 3 work rooms, 2 pre-work rooms, a recovery room for newborns, 2 operating rooms and 1 recovery room.
A hospitalisation service in gynaecology handles the operated patients in gynaecology, as well as the IVG. A hospitalisation service in obstetrics, a team of anaesthesiologists make it possible to have an epidural 24 hours a day.
A group of gynaecologist obstetricians consult on site and ensure consultations 24hours a day. A team of paediatricians are also on site 24 hours a day and ensure the medical supervision of the new-born babies.

All round great birthing experience!
First of all I can't compare this to anywhere else as I've only given birth once - here. But here was my experience - the midwives were all very pro "natural" birth, breastfeeding etc but I didn't feel pressured if I didn't want to go this way. I hear that you are not tied to a bed here when in labour but I was induced so I can't vouch for that as I was strapped to so many machines! I was given so much help with breast-feeding and it worked a treat. The clinic is clean and the food is good, the staff are all friendly and seem to really know what they are doing! Despite the induction and complete medicalisation of what I had hoped would be a natural birth this was still a great experience!
